What are the components of water lilies?
I’ve searched Yahoo! Answers, but the answers are insufficient. I have a project in Biology, and I would like to know if there are simple/complex sugars or starches in water lilies, and in what part? Thank you!
Water lilies, or Nymphaeaceae, are essentially a flower attached to leaves. So, both parts are made of complex sugars (the flower and leaves photosynthesize).
