How to eliminate Herring from Koi Pond?
I have a Koi pond that the Herring came and eat all my koi fish. Is there a way to get rid of Herring from scooping up all the Koi fish in the Pond? Please help…..

anyway, the best way to deter herons is to build a slight frame over your pond and cover it with pond netting or fruit tree netting
that will keep the herons out for good

I think you must mean Heron not Herring which is a type of fish that lives in the sea. You should provide your fish hiding places such as pieces of 3 inch or 4 inch pvc pipe or slabs of stone set on bricks. Next you may need to make the pond deeper. After that all you can really do is to install a sprinkler designed to chase animals away from lawns…not sure if it would work with a Heron. For example try this link…hope it works! Good luck.
